Went for Duathlon that is organise by TJC OAC this morning. Position card wrote 65 but i tink will chage because got 2 waves. Did not do as well as i can do or we will be able to do better. I know i can ride faster but just could not this morning. Still, we finish the race. Well done. 16 km is not really that short. I think i took around 50 mins. Really way too slow. One team completed the race like in 45 minutes. Including the run.

Guys all dint make it to top 3. Like quite expected. Luckily Debbie (runner) and Sheryl (biker) came in third. Did SA ODAC proud. * CLAP CLAP *

This event is considered okay other than i have to report at 0700 when i stay the other side of Singapore. Boon Lay and Bedok. Both start with B but it is far far apart. I did wrote that in the feedback form. Hope next time they will not be so smart lah. Another thing, the goodie bag is omg. One newwater, one green tea packet and lots of paper. I will not call that a goodie bag. Seriously. But still, i have fun lah =)

OEC'09 Completed.

A 3D2N camp. Walking around 3/4 of Singapore. Traveling from north-east to north to west. A long long trek, with a heavy backpack on your back. Last camp for Saints ODAC 08/09.

LTC'09

Was not involved in the camp but went for the finale. It just bring back the memories of last year LTC. Not to forget FAITH tradition, half eaten food and lots of eggs:)with surprise after that, roast chicken and many more. 32nd is going to be commentated in 4 weeks time. Meaning, last 4 week as a 31st councilor.

31st Council Vs Sports and Fitness

3rd official match as 31st and we won all 3
with 30th 4-2
with band 10-4
with SAF 7-1

next match, probably last match as a council. Against the 32nd. Will it be another winning match? OR will it be a anomalous match ?

Following the pattern, i failed to safe the ball in the 3rd minute. 1-0. Score early and stay there. No more score from them because we got nice defense =) Almost let in goal again near the end. Lucky it dint.

Its time to update again. Being quite busy since school reopen. Or maybe i should say even berfore school reopen. Orientation dry run camp 2 on the thurs and fri before school reopen. Meaning left 2 days to do whatever i want before school reopen. New time table really sucks. Last year time table is so much nicer. The most wonderful thing is that i agree to help to open house video for ODAC on monday night and it is needed on wednesday. SO, i ended up sleeping at 2 plus am on tuesday night or maybe wednesday morning. 3 hours of sleep and i have to go school.

Open house was WOW. More people then last year open house. BUT i think last year open house is so much more fun since the open house comm put in so much effort for it. This years one is organise by the school. Very rush for everyone since we were only told abouut the details on tuesday or maybe some on monday. STILL, it is a sucessful one. Very sucessful. Heard that we have over 2000+ visitor. i think no one expected the turnout to be so good. The free gift and booklets run out very fast.

Had physic MSA today, both structured and MCQ. For not studying waves, oscillation, super position and not studying enough for the rest, i am going to flunk my Pjysic MSA. Because of this, i am going to work harder for my math and chem.

Went back new town for the CCA talk. Changed the venue from amphitheater to classroom because amphi got no projector. I think after changing better. Lucky han pin think fast. Make the classroom got the atmosphere. Added a charging in scene in the talk. I think its quite cool. Great job guys. Many seems interested. Hopefully hopefully, can get more cadets this year. =)

Somehow, looking at the video and the presentation just remind me that i might be in the army next year this time. No more NCC. That just make me feel urgh. How i wish that i can change the 2 years of serving army to serving NCC. It's still 1 more year to go though. Sould really cherish my time left with NCC since i wont be going back that often.

Anyway, good luck to those taking level up exam this week. Hope they pass.....

31st Dec New Year Eve

Clean the ODAC store today. What a wonderful new year eve. At least it looks cleaner and neater now. =) Really lots of things inside and not all are useful so we throw away many things. Can consider that we did quite a lot since we only have half a day.

Looking back, 2008 is a wonderful year. Had lots of new experience, learn many things, had much fun. Quite a number memorable events in this year. Hope that 2009 will also be a fun year. Speaking about 2009, not really prepared for it. Many things undone. Time just fly.

Ok.

I guess its time for me to post.

ODAC year end trip to Vietnam, 5 - 11 December. It is definitely a trip that i will not regret in going, and a also a very memorable one. Really had lots of fun there. The club also bonded more i guess.

Before we leave...

Its really cold up in the mountain...

Summit

3,143 m above sea level. Mt. Fansipan. It can get really cold up in the mountain. Luckily there is fire for us to get some warmth at the base camp. It was negative 3 degree on the second night. We can see ice on the mountain. Climbing mounatin in the dark is quite cool but very dangerous. We came down from summit in the dark. Luckily no one got injured. Everyone is safe. 12 hours of climbing up to the summit and back down to the base camp. Summit, scenery and many others things make it worth it.

SAPA is a cool place. Really cool. 9 degree. We stayed one night there after we got down from the mountain. We met some Singaporean at the hotel we stayed. They really have the typical Singaporean style. Eating ice cream at such a cold place is another fun experience for all of us. SAPA is a nice place.

Many funny things happen during the trip. The bargaining of prices, what happen in the tent at night, and many many more. This Vietnam trip allow me to learn alot, in many way, leave me a wonderful memory, more bonded to the club etc. But good times always fly.

one more week to grad night

two more week to Vietnam trip.

went trekking on wed. so called to be training for upcoming vietnam trip. walk from vivo to west coast. with a bag that is around 7 kg. reach home around 6 + liao. change than go for chalet at downtown east. only 3 person staying over for the first night lah. so get to sleep. lucky get to sleep for the first night.

thurs is fun day. whole day at chalet. play play play play. BBq at nite. i strat the fire and cook at the start. but really cannot tahan the smoke. so aft tad i just eat. haha. got alot of food left. zhong ji mi ma is a gd game to clear all the food. ha. 12+ we went for night walk. came back play game till morning.

fri. super tired. cox nv slp still have to go sch for grad nite meeting. fell asleep with the food in my hand lah.

went to buy logistic. george really know where to get thise cheap stuff.

have a fun day today.

spend half a day with the class. dam fun lah. enjoy it alot. i cannot say what we do. we will get into some trouble if some people that are not suppose to find out get to knows about it.

i clean the student centre today. nothing to do before ODAC, so clean the SC. quite neat now. went to ODAC like on time but i am still one of the earliest, as usual. don't know what is wrong with SA people. everything and anything also late. last time i go early also can be one of the last to reach, now is different case. reach on time can be the early ones.

so i spend another half of the day with ODAC. was having fun during the trek. just that i waited very long as not everyone come very early. the whole trek only two guys but is still better den KC who waited for us for very long. just too bad for him, is just his unlucky day. the second part of the trek is very nice. we should go there again. it was raining just now, so we cannot stay for long.

science centre tomorrow. free bus ride by school. it is near my house. well done.
